Influence of heat treatment on luminescent properties of the HfO2, synthesized by precipitation method

The luminescent properties of HfO samples were studied considering calcinations carried out at different temperatures (1000, 1200, 1400 1600 °C). The results of XRD showed that the samples, synthesized by the precipitation method, have a crystalline phase in the monoclinic system, and the size of the crystallite increases from 22.8 nm, for sample calcined at 1000 °C, to 41.6 nm for the one calcined at 1600 °C.
