The selection of literature as an object of research was determined by the fact that a significant part of the authors knew Lenin personally and often belonged to critics of his views and actions. The analysis made it possible to identify which personality traits of the Bolshevik leader they considered the most significant for understanding his political successes and failures, as well as his role in revolutionary events.
