Selection of the Composition of a Multicomponent Alloy of the Nb–Ti–Al–X System with High-Temperature Strength, Heat Resistance, and Technological Efficiency

We establish the physicochemical conditions required for the creation of multicomponent Nb–Ti–Al–X (X – Cr, Zr, Mo, Sr) niobium alloys with improved characteristics of high-temperature strength, heat resistance, and technological efficiency. The conclusions are based on the relationship between the physical properties of alloying elements, enthalpy of mixing, compositions of alloys, and the diagrams of state of the components with specific features of their crystallization caused by alloying.
