The Cover Feature shows the epoxidation of 1‐butene in micropores and macropores of TS‐1. In their Full Paper, Y. Zuo et al. reported the posttreatment of TS‐1 zeolite with ethanolamine (EOA) and triethanolamine (TEOA) and their different effects on the porosity and Ti coordination states. EOA treatment can dissolve the framework Si, [SiO4], on the external surface of TS‐1, generating some macropores. TEOA serves as structure‐directing agent to form MFI topology, in addition to the dissolution of [SiO4], and promotes the recrystallization of [SiO4], forming new TS‐1 particles over the external surface. The recrystallization stabilizes the structure of TS‐1 and maintains more framework Ti and intercrystal space, which leads to an enhanced catalyst stability.
