Corrigendum to Road lighting research for drivers and pedestrians: The basis of luminance and illuminance recommendations

On page 170 of the above paper it is stated that ‘‘Gibbons et al. examined 83 000 crashes in the period 2007 to 2012 over 2000 miles . . . ’’ At this location, the reference citation leads to the incorrect report. The correct report is identified below. Although the two reports are linked, being outputs of the same dataset, the cited report does not substantiate the information given on page 170, but the additional reference indicated below does.
