Study of an isotropic slab in context of memory-dependent derivative due to heat source

A model of generalized thermoelasticity is proposed here for an isotropic slab. The governing equations of motion and heat conduction equation are written in context of memory-dependent derivative with two-phase lag variables in the presence of heat source. A vector matrix differential equation is formulated as a compact form of the governing equations in transformed domain. The corresponding solution is obtained with the help of eigenvalue approach and integral transformation. Numerical computations for the important physical variables like displacement, thermal strain, stress components, and temperature distribution with respect to space variables are evaluated and represented graphically.
