Energetics Metrics for Foam-Glass Concrete Building Products

The results of studies of the operational metrics of samples of foam-glass concrete building products are reported. To have a clear picture of a product’s operational capabilities under different conditions the metrics are conventionally divided into strength and energetics. The strength metrics consist of density and strength in compression and the energetics metrics consist of thermal conductivity and moisture resistance. The qualitative effects of the main parameters of the main product filler — ground glass — on the operational metrics were studied. Nomograms were developed for making a judicious choice of the input metrics of products in application to different technical and operational requirements.
