Plane wave propagation in a nonlocal magneto-thermoelastic solid with two temperature and Hall current

The objective of this paper is to study plane wave propagation in a homogeneous isotropic nonlocal magneto-thermoelastic medium under the effect of Hall current applied to multi-dual-phase lag heat transfer. For a 2-D assumed model, three types of coupled longitudinal waves (quasi-longitudinal, quasi-transverse and quasi-thermal) exist. The wave characteristics, such as phase velocity, specific loss, attenuation coefficients, energy ratios, penetration depth and amplitude ratios of transmitted and reflected waves, are computed numerically and depicted graphically. The energy ratios have been calculated by taking the ratio of the share of energy in the different scattered waves to the incident wave. The impact of nonlocal parameter and Hall current parameter has been represented graphically by taking different values. Some particular cases have also been discussed.
