Corrigendum: An understanding of enhanced osteoblast adhesion on various nanostructured polymeric and metallic materials prepared by ionic plasma deposition

Between the manuscripts Pareta et al., J Biomed Mater Res 92A: 1190–1,201, 2010, DOI: 10.1002/jbm.a.32433 and Pareta et al., Biotechnology and Bioengineering 103(3): 459–471, 2009, DOI: 10.1002/bit.22276, we inadvertently published similar figures and data without proper citation of the other article. All of the data are our own and both papers have significantly different conclusions since they focus on different tissue engineering applications. Specifically, a subset of the data in Figure 1–6 and Tables II and IV for both papers show similar material characterization results. Further, due to inadvertent EDS spectra mislabeling, in Figure 4 in Pareta et al., Biotechnology and Bioengineering 103(3): 459–471, 2009, DOI: 10.1002/bit.22276, the EDS spectra from PU‐Ti‐P and PTFE‐Ti‐P should be switched (see corrected below). Again, this does not influence any of the conclusions of the paper.
