Abstract Fuel combustion processes play an important role when firing materials in rotary kilns. In this paper, we provide brief information on the design and operation principle of the burner with a combined combustion system that was developed specifically for the new rotary kiln for burning chamotte. The computer modeling results of the natural gas combustion process performed in the ANSYS software package are presented.
