On Green’s function of magnetoelectroelastic solids with general anisotropy

Abstract The paper presents a novel explicit expression of three-dimensional Green’s function of magnetoelectroelastic solids with general anisotropy. The novel explicit expression of Green’s function is an alternative of the simple explicit expression in the non-degenerate case. The most impressive property of the novel explicit expression is its applicability in degenerate cases. The explicit expression is assumed to be unified since it is valid in both degenerate and non-degenerate cases. The numerical results of Green’s function of a transversely isotropic magentoelectroelastic material by using the unified explicit expression show the high accuracy of the numerical evaluation of unified explicit expression in degenerate, nearly-degenerate and non-degenerate cases.
