Abstract

The issue of evaluating characteristics of the frictional properties of blended yarn and the effect of the emulsifying composition on the wear resistance of the fibrous material is considered. A technique for determining thread wear before and after processing is presented. The calculation of the contact pair of thread–metal for wear is of great importance for solving the problem of predicting the strength and reliability of the main threads in the weaving process.
