Long ELMy H-mode KSTAR discharges are used to show that low frequencies ( ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/0029-5515/60/12/124002/nfabb2d6ieqn1.gif] {$\,\,f\lesssim 50\:\mathrm{kHz}$} ) of the ion-scale density fluctuations contain electromagnetic components that transfer energy from ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/0029-5515/60/12/124002/nfabb2d6ieqn2.gif] {$f\lesssim 15\:\mathrm{kHz}$} to higher frequency ( ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/0029-5515/60/12/124002/nfabb2d6ieqn3.gif] {$15\:\mathrm{kHz} \lesssim\ f\ \lesssim 100\:\mathrm{kHz}$} ) fluctuations during ELM crashes via three-wave non-linear interactions. Such non-linear interactions are not observed during the inter-ELM phases.
