Abstract Nowadays, piezoelectric speakers have been actively studied for the applications to smartphone, TV monitor, and car audio system. Accordingly, for developing the piezoelectric speaker composition ceramics, in this paper, (Na,K,Li)(Nb,Sb)O3–(Bi,Na)ZrO3 ceramics with Rhombohedral-Tetragonal (R-T) region were fabricated with iron oxide addition, and their piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. When iron oxide was added to the ceramics, d33and kp were decreased. However, Qm was increased. At the NKN-BNZ ceramics with 0.1 wt% iron oxide. The piezoelectric constant d33, electromechanical coupling factor kp, and dielectric constant εr were optimized as 263[pC/N], 0.450, 1978, respectively, for piezoelectric speaker application.
