Abstract

The synthesis of quinoline, quinazoline and spiro-quinazoline derivatives can be effectively promoted in the presence of nanoporous TiO2 containing an ionic liquid bridge. Using this method, the products are obtained in very short reaction times with excellent yields under solvent-free conditions. The reusability of the catalyst is another important feature of the reported method.
