The improved denoising algorithm of acoustic sensor based on linear optical fiber Sagnac interferometer

Abstract This paper is devoted to the study of an acoustic sensor system based on linear fiber optic Sagnac interferometer. An improved threshold denoising algorithm combined with the wavelet theory is proposed. Furthermore, a hybrid scheme based on the improved algorithm with bandpass filter is explored, and experimental verification of theoretical investigation is accomplished as well. Taking the measured speech signals as examples, the Allan variance of the signals can be reduced, while the class spacing criterion can be increased. It is of great significance for promoting the application of the fiber optic acoustic sensor system.
