Abstract

Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is used for the identification of elements in any material or substance. Samples of four different tea brands contained many elements, some are natural tea elements while some adulteration has been added. These four tea brands are local tea and three brands have been analyzed by LIBS. Some impurities have been identified in these samples. Plasma parameters like plasma temperature and electron number density have been calculated and checked the variation in these samples. This can easily be used as a helpful analytical tool for quality and safety control.
