Numbers game: A study of synthetic cell‐membrane systems, namely, polymeric vesicles, with sugar ligands imbedded at various densities on their surfaces shows that vesicles with sparsely populated ligands promote lectin interaction leading to aggregates, whereas fully ligand‐loaded vesicles strictly undergo an intramolecular ligand‐lectin interaction, within the same plane of the vesicle.
