Abstract

Novel bis-1,2,3-triazol-1H-4-yl-substituted aryl benzimidazole-2-thiol derivatives have been synthesized from 5-methoxy and 5-difluoromethoxy bis-propargyl substituted benzimidazole-2-thiols using the “click chemistry,” tested for their antimicrobial activity and subjected to molecular docking studies. Structures of the compounds have been elucidated from IR, NMR, and mass spectra.
