Abstract
The review analyzes and summarizes methods for the synthesis of polycyclic derivatives of sulfolane (sulfolene). The reactions of polyalkylation, transformations of functional groups of the sulfolene ring, as well as the addition reaction at endo- and exocyclic multiple bonds are considered.
