Abstract
Wood of forest beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) has high physical and mechanical properties and is widely used in various industries. In this paper, it is shown that, when exposed to elevated temperatures, changes in the chemical composition of forest beech wood, disordering of bonds in the system of lignin and holocellulose, transformation of lignin, and decomposition of holocellulose caused mainly by the decomposition of part of hemicelluloses occur.中文翻译:
