Optimization the Optical Structure of the NICA Collider

Abstract

The optimization of the optical structure of the NICA Collider is presented. The Collider optics settings are given for a working point of 9.44/9.44 and a bare gold nuclei beam with energies of 1, 3, and 4.5 GeV/u. The dynamic aperture simulation and optimization results are given. The tolerance of the magnetic field errors for the Collider structural elements and the closed orbit adjustment precision are discussed.
