The authors1 should be applauded for their novel work into noninvasive preoperative predictors of tumor grade. Specifically, they found that when stimulating eloquent motor areas in diffuse glioma patients with navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS), an increase in World Health Organization (WHO) grading and isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) wild-type status was correlated with abnormal excitability.1
