Efficient and vacuum‐processed small molecular organic photodetectors (OPDs) employing the active layer of ClAlPc:C70 have been demonstrated by Shun‐Wei Liu, Ken‐Tsung Wong and co‐workers, as reported in article number 2000519. Such proposed OPDs with low dark current density (1.15 × 10−9 A cm−2), high rising/fall time (<2 μs), wide optical power range (linear dynamic range of >173 dB), and strong response (0.439 A W−1 at −2.0 V) to near‐infrared wavelength (730 nm) open up the possibility of their successful application in optical (Li‐Fi) communication, artificial vision, biomedical detection, etc.
