Synthesis of Fluorescent Composite Materials Based on Graphitic Carbon Nitride

Abstract

A highly fluorescent composite powder based on graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) is synthesized by thermal decomposition of melamine in the presence of nanoparticles of aluminum, titanium, and silicon oxides. The fluorescent properties of the composite nanoparticles excited at a wavelength of 532 nm are studied. The relative fluorescence quantum yield of the obtained material is 62%.
