Let Δs be the leafwise Laplacian for urn:x-wiley:00103640:media:cpa21935:cpa21935-math-0002 and let X be the geodesic spray, i.e., the vector field that generates the geodesic flow. For each ρ, the operator urn:x-wiley:00103640:media:cpa21935:cpa21935-math-0003 generates a diffusion for urn:x-wiley:00103640:media:cpa21935:cpa21935-math-0004.
