Kind of Robe’s restricted problem with heterogeneous irregular primary of N-layers when outer most layer has viscous fluid

Abstract This paper deals with the properties of the motion of the test particle (third body) which is moving in the outer layer of the heterogeneous body filled with the viscous fluid, under the influence of the heterogeneous body and the point mass. We have determined the gravitational potential between the heterogeneous body and the test particle and then evaluated the equations of motion of the test particle. Using the system of equations of motion we have evaluated the locations of equilibrium points in three cases (collinear, non-collinear and out-of-plane). Finally, we have examined the stability of these equilibrium points.
