In the article entitled, “The androgen receptor antagonist enzalutamide induces apoptosis, dysregulates the heat shock protein system, and diminishes the androgen receptor and estrogen receptor β1 expression in prostate cancer cells” the following error was published in Abazid et al Journal of Cellular Biochemistry (Volume 120, pages 16711‐16722, 2019).

It contains a false statement on author involvement. It was not Alexander Abazid and Martin Burchardt who contributed equally to this study, but Alexander Abazid and Benedikt Martin. We apologize for this error.

This corrigendum is published to correct that error.
