[G Murugadoss and V Ramasamy, Luminescence study of monodispersed ZnS nanoparticles, Luminescence 2013, 28(2): 195–201. (https://doi.org/10.1002/bio.2363)] This expression of concern is for the above article, published online on June 25, 2012, in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), and has been published by agreement between the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, Dr Xinrong Zhang, and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. The expression of concern has been agreed due to concerns raised regarding the appearance of Figures 2–3. The authors provided a revised version of Figure 3(a) (below) but were not able to explain the similarities between the originally published versions of Figures 2 and 3. The authors' institution failed to respond to a request from the Publisher and the Editor‐in‐Chief to investigate whether the data arose from the originally reported experiments, are unmodified, and are suitable for publication. As a result, the journal is issuing this expression of concern to readers.
