The effect of bias and frequency on amplitude to phase conversion of photodiodes

The relative intensity noise of the laser can be converted into phase noise by the amplitude-to-phase conversion of photodiode. Therefore, it is of practical usefulness to study the AM-to-PM conversion of the photodiode and reduce it. We describe the effects of bias voltage and test frequency on this conversion in detail and explain the influence mechanism of these two factors on this conversion for the first time.
