Study on Thermal Properties of Epoxy-Adhesive Film for Aluminum Sandwich Composite Structure

Among many composite material structures, honeycomb sandwich composites have been used in various ways. The honeycomb sandwich is adhered by polymer resin adhesive and the stiffness of honeycomb sandwich structures is determined by adhesive characteristics. This study is intended to evaluate adhesive characteristics after surface treatment and lateral compressive characteristics before and after thermal treatment when using adhesive films between aluminum skin (5J32) and honeycomb of aluminum honeycomb panel.
