A Simple and Effective Method for the Resonance Frequencies Identification of the Complex Cavities Within Reverberation Chamber

This letter presents a practical method for identifying the resonance frequencies of arbitrary complex cavity within the reverberation chamber (RC). Based on a sufficient set of independent samples, the permutation entropy (PE) algorithm is used to determine the resonance frequency. For this method, the relevant parameters and regularity indicators have been defined, and the corresponding results are verified experimentally from different configurations of unloaded and loaded cavities.
