Abstract Four distinct new Euryops taxa, E. dasyphyllus J.H.J. Vlok, E. bertilii J.H.J. Vlok, E. diosmiphyllus J.H.J. Vlok and E. subcarnosus DC. subsp. fallax J.H.J. Vlok, from the Klein Karoo (Western Cape Province, South Africa) are described. A conservation status is proposed for each of the taxa and amendments to current keys are provided to include these new taxa. A note is provided on the phytogeography of Euryops in this region.
