Thermal Behavior of Polystyrene-Based Composite Materials

Abstract

Organo-inorganic film materials based on polystyrene were obtained. The films are characterized by optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. Thermal behavior was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry. It was found that, with increasing concentration of the modifying additive, the glass transition temperature of the composite increases.
