Restoring quantum qutrit system from the amplitude-phase decoherence using environment-assisted measurement and reversal

Decoherence suppression from disturbance of the environment is an essential task in quantum information processing. We investigate the restoration of a qutrit system interacting with a zero-temperature reservoir from amplitude-phase decoherence sources by employing the environment-assisted measurement and reversal (EMR) operation. In particular, by solving the master equation, we get the exact analytical or numerical simulations expressions of the optimal final restoration, showing explicitly that the EMR does indeed can recovery qutrit states.
