Novel immuno-nucleic acid cooperative detection technology for food safety

ABSTRACT The establishment of nucleic acid amplification technology and functional nucleic acid aptamers promote the development of detection techniques. In particular, the detection displayed promise for broader application, as well as improved specificity ad higher sensitivity when combined with immunoassays (IA). This review introduced the novel immuno-nucleic acid (INA) cooperative detection technology, which is currently applied in the field of food safety for the recognition of residues of veterinary drugs and pesticides, biological toxins, pathogenic microorganisms, genetically modified foods (GMF), environmental pollutants, and more. Ultimately, the prospects for future development prospects, as well as the potential advantages of this technology were presented. Graphic.
