Abstract As the prevalence of substance use disorders continue to increase nationally and there are more barriers to access traditional illicit drugs, unique ways to create new compounds and mix existing substances will occur. It is critical that consultation-liaison psychiatry and addiction providers appreciate new, potentially dangerous synthetic drugs and combinations of substances that can result in intoxication and withdrawal syndromes along with other concerning medical sequelae.
