Trojan horse strategy: Glycocluster‐siderophores were synthesised to target LecA and LecB lectins contained in the outer membrane and inside the bacterium of P. aeruginosa. The galactoclusters with catechol moieties were able to hijack the iron transport and exhibit a inhibitory effect. This result shows that LecA localised in the outer membrane of P. aeruginosa is involved in the infection process.
