Production of Nanocomposites of Polypropylene with Polyethylene Glycol

The possibility of producing nanocomposites based on a crystalline polymer and liquid polyethylene glycol by crazing was studied. It was determined that this method can produce nanocomposites containing to 50% of the second component. It was found that the introduction of polyethylene glycol hydrophilizes the surface of hydrophobic polypropylene.
