Production of Bc Meson at NLO

In this study, the fragmentation functions (FF) for the production of Bc meson (1S and 2S-states) in c → Bc and b → Bc processes at the leading order (LO) and next-to-leading order (NLO) are derived. Moreover, some technical details about the contributions of the first two sets, n = 1 and n = 2 of S-wave states currents in dimensional regularization scheme are discussed. The differences between the fragmentation functions indicated that the NLO corrections enhanced the fragmentation probability (FP). Also, the probability of production of Bc meson in 1S state and in b → Bc process was more than the one in 1S state and c → Bc process.
