Electrode materials are key components for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction (ECR) systems. In article number 1903796, Yuehe Lin, Jun‐Jie Zhu, and co‐workers describe recent progress regarding cathodic heterogeneous catalysts coupling with photoanode/bioanode materials from the perspective of improving the conversion efficiency and energy utilization efficiency of the whole system. They also provide an outlook for the cross‐study of cathodic catalysts and anodic materials in future ECR systems.
