Abstract Given a compact metric space X and a continuous function f : X → X , we define the ω-limit function ω f : X → 2 X by ω f ( x ) = ω ( x , f ) for each x ∈ X . We study the continuity of ω f when f is defined on a dendrite. Furthermore, we show some relationships between the connectedness of the set of periodic points and the equicontinuity of the function.
