The Hall conductivity in Weyl semimetals as a tool to detect the axion field

Abstract The electron–electron interaction in Weyl semimetals induces a coupling between the chiral electronic bands. As a result, a sliding density wave is induced and observed by Gooth et al. (2019) Here we compute the Hall conductivity at finite temperatures in Weyl semimetals, revealing the presence of density waves.
