Corrosion Resistance of WAP Coating Containing Atmospheric Plasma Glow Treated Graphene

Abstract The polar functional groups on the graphene surface were grafted via atmospheric plasma glow treatment to improve the dispersion of graphene in water, and the modified graphene was added to the WAP Coating. The corrosion resistance of the coating before and after the addition of modified graphene was investigated by electrochemical impedance and polarization test. The results showed that the treated graphene was easily dispersed in water and had a positive effect on the corrosion resistance of the WAP coatings.
