Abstract
Satellite imagery was used to identify active neotectonic faults. The areas of greater fault density coincide with concentration zones of earthquake epicenters, including the largest of them (K ≥ 10). The earthquakes are confined to intersections of deep NE and NW striking faults. The Kulu–Tenka region can be considered as the area of interaction between the zones of dynamic influence of faults that separate the Eurasian, North American, and Pacific plates.中文翻译:
