High-Performance Photodetectors with X-Ray Responsivity Based on Interface Modified Perovskite Film

High-performance photodetectors based on an interface modified hybrid perovskite film are reported. Large crystalline grains are formed in perovskite layer with less PbI2. The on/off switching ratio higher than 105 is achieved. Owing to the enhanced efficiency in carrier transport and extraction, the photodetector with a modified interface shows a transient response time as fast as 110 ns. In addition, such devices show an X-ray sensitivity up to $67\mu \text{C}$ Gy−1 cm−2. Our work indicates that the use of hybrid perovskite film with interface engineering is a promising method for efficient photon detection in visible light and X rays mainly because of their fast carrier extraction, low cost and easy preparation.
