Influencing the neighbour: In co‐culture Streptomyces sp. MG7‐G1 induces Streptomyces violaceoruber to produce droplets on its areal mycelium. Moreover, the calcium‐dependent antibiotics from S. violaceoruber are deacylated, in particular when the concentration of Ca²⁺ ions is high.
