Response of fiber grating FP cavity to different frequency pulse injection

The response of fiber grating FP cavity to different frequency pulse injection is theoretically studied and experimentally demonstrated. The fiber grating FP cavity is composed of a pair of identical uniform fiber Bragg gratings connected by a piece of fiber, and the ring-down spectral characteristics of the fiber grating FP cavity with different frequency pulse laser injection are studied. The results show that the ring-down time of the fiber grating FP cavity is independent of the frequency of the pulsed laser, and the time that the intensity of the light in the fiber grating FP cavity reaches the maximum value is related to the frequency of the pulsed laser. If the frequency of the pulsed laser is too high, the stability of the light intensity in the cavity will be affected, which results in the measurement error of the cavity ring-down time.
