Study of Chromium Steel Ductility During Pipe Extrusion

Ductility of chromium steels 15Kh13N2, 10Kh13N3MFB, and 10Kh17N13M2T is studied as a function of the stress-strain state and deformation temperature using fracture phenomenological theory. Computer simulation of the process of pipe extrusion is performed using QForm software. A dependence is proposed describing the ductility diagram, and empirical coefficients are determined by tests in a Gleeble 3800 unit.
