Aims: Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical axis gene polymorphisms have been reported to affect aggressive behavior. Corticotropin releasing hormone binding protein (CRHBP) polymorphisms have been shown to contribute to the susceptibility to stress-related disorders, including aggressive behavior. However, no study has been conducted on the relationship between CRHBP polymorphisms and aggressive behavior risk in the Han Chinese population.
